Spot on BBC Radio Wales

Tune in to BBC Radio Wales tonight from 6:30 pm for Arts and the Autistic Mind, a documentary series exploring how the arts can be used to unlock the potential of the neurodiverse mind presented by actor Richard Mylan.

For the star of Waterloo Road, Coupling and Belonging this is a very personal journey. Richard's son Jaco who is 12 years old is on the autistic spectrum. We had the pleasure of their company at our Big Top show in Cardiff.

Talking on BBC Radio Wales early this week Richard shared his impression of Circus Starr:

"Circus Starr was really joyful because it was a real mix... I thought this is what society should be! There was no judgment, a lot of acceptance and everyone just having a great time!"

To find out how they got on under our starry canopy follow the link below later.
