Circus Starr works with charities on two levels:
1 Our driving force is providing free circus tickets for children via our Donated Ticket Programme. We currently distribute to more than 3,550 children's charities and organisations across the UK including children's hospices and hospitals, children's centres, young carers, foster homes, women's refuges, single parent support groups, youth zones and special educational needs schools. In addition to this, we work very closely with the regional branches of a number of leading national charities including:
2 We also work closely with a charity per tour who benefit from any surplus funds we raise and partner with us to generate publicity at our circus events.
Over the years these donations have been used to keep hospices open, purchase incubators and life-saving equipment, pay for specialist staff and help maintain high levels of care.
