We are so excited to return with this project!

Circus Starr has held Touch Tours for a number of years but we had to take a break due to health and safety reasons throughout the pandemic.

However, now it is safe for us to hold the tours which take place prior to our performances.

We hold this project for those who are visually impaired or experience sensory sensitivity.

It involves audience members entering our Big Top early, which gives them the chance to get used to our magical environment. Once inside, we invite them to enter the circus ring and meet our fabulous troupe.

The tour is very relaxed and children are welcome to ask our troupe any questions they might have, to feel their costumes, and they even have the chance to use our artist’s props!

Attending the tour can enhance the experience for children when the performance is taking place, and can also help to prevent them from feeling overwhelmed.

Our Spring tour will see us hold these tours prior to the 4.45 pm shows in Tamworth, Sheffield, Leeds and Oldham.

If you would be interested in attending one of our touch tours please feel free to give us a call on 01260 288690 or email community@circus-starr.org.uk.
