Our Autumn tour is fast approaching and its all ‘Go! Go! Go!’ here at Circus Starr HQ!

We’re always busy making sure everything is ready, but this year’s Autumn tour has more projects than ever which is certainly keeping us on our toes.

The final tour of 2019 offers five deaf friendly locations that will feature a British Sign Language Interpreter and four locations that will host a touch tour prior to the first show.

We’re asking any audience members that may benefit from these projects to contact us so that we can book the additional service for them.

Touch Tours

Our touch tours are held primarily for those who are visually impaired, but they have also proven popular with autistic children.

This project gives them the chance to meet our artists prior to the show so that they can feel their props and costumes, enhancing their experience when the show actually takes place.

Our touch tours will take place in Hull, Liverpool, Milton Keynes and Luton.

Signed Shows

We are excited to be welcoming British Sign Language interpreters into the big top! Our show is very visual which is great for our deaf audience members- but the interaction between our clown and Ringmaster is something not to be missed!

With this in mind we are holding some deaf friendly shows so that our deaf audience members can enjoy every aspect of our show.

Our signed performances will take place in Hull, Doncaster, Oldham, Liverpool and Luton.

Our Sensory Story 

Circus Starr have also recently introduced The Circus Starr Sensory Story! We have proudly partnered with Joanna Grace of The Sensory Projects to develop a sensory story based on our show to help families prepare for their visit.

The story is available to download for free, or you can order a free pack that contains the supporting resources thanks to the kind support of businesses who fund the packs at £5 per box.
