Pj Cars has been operating since 1980/ is one of Derby most established taxi firm in Derby city. It all started from the Cavendish pub by Pauline and Joe the proprietors. Since then the business has gone strength to strength. With only one car back in the days, the company has reached to over 150 cars on the fleet. We only consider being reliable and cost effective to our customers, we are open 24 hours, seven days a week.
Our company has developed over the years with customer satisfaction and investing into the latest dispatch booking system. Our aim is simple getting customers from A TO B as quick as possible using our latest computerised technology. Our future aim will be continued investing in training, discipline and code of conduct to all our staff and drivers. We aim to expand and more importantly getting the service to all our valued customers.
We have a mini sized call centre employing up to 15 members of staff, each time there are always a minimum of three people answering and taking bookings. All of the staff is fully trained for the system we use and dedicate all the customers’ services to our customers. We have a computerised networked phone system to allow us to answer calls from our offices and also if needed from our mobile phones just to give that extra touch of service to our customers. We try to answer 99% of the calls in each every shift. Each and every staff has the knowledge of the local area we operates so all of us understand all your travel requirements.
